In the event of a large scale
aggression, the R. A. F. support available to the land forces would be somewhat restricted. This was due to the limitations of the only available airfield at Kai Tak.

The proposalst made by the War Office for the anti-aircraft reinforcements were generally agreed. was considered undesirable, however, to submit a separate report on this subject. A summary of the se proposals should be included in the comprehensive Paper for submission to Ministers.

Instructed the Secretary to amend the
report by the Joint Planning Staff in the light of their discussion and to submit it over their signatures to the Minister of Defence.
Instructed the Joint Intelligence
Committee to keep under review the developments in Southern China with particular reference to the threat to Hong Kong, and to report fortnightly.
