Defence Committee agreed yesterday to reinforce- ment of Hongkong by one fighter squadron from Maya. Question of permanent location can be discussed during visit to U.K. of Air Commander-in-Chief in May.

2. Agree to move of remainder of No. 45 (LB) Squadron from Ceylon to Malaya. The Commonwealth Relations Office have been asked to inform Ceylon Government.
