Now, Lam Cheung, the last time you owne before us, you made certain state :ents which I gathered you had been told to make. Now, that was very foolish of you. I know you were not telling the truth. Now, you have nothing to be afraid of, and there is no reason for you to be easy about telling the truth, but you must tell the truth, otherwise it may be very serious for you. Now, why should you go and tell something which is not true to the Commission, for the sake of shielding somebody and "etting yourself into trouble, Now, Mr Lau Chu Pak will put some questi ne to you, and you answer then truthfully. There is nothing to he afraid of, and if you tell me the truth, I will give you a letter which will protect you, and if there is any trouble about your telling the truth, you just
come to Mr Lau Chu Pak, or to me. All you have got to
do is to tell the truth.
