W In reference to my report to the Hon. Colonial "Secretary on the 8th instant, I beg further to report:
"1. Re brothel keeper of 257 Hollywood Road regarding
"statement of money paid to Inspector Lamble, I think
"Inspector Allen will give corroborative evidence in
"this case.
"2. In the case of contractor Man 11 Youn re the roast
"pork shop in West Street, Inspector Amy would give
"corroborative evidence.
"3. The master of brothel No 415 and 417 Queens Road
"West formerly of 25 Possession Street, and who had
"trouble with Inspector Lamble concerning the basement "of the Lam Ya Lau Restaurant, Hollywood Foad, rented
"by him and used as a kitchen, Inspector Allen knows
"something about this.
"4. Wong Ha formerly tenant of No 237 vollywood Road,
"who carried on business under the name of the "Anglo
"American Restaurant" and who was prosecuted by
"Inspector Lamble for adulteration of milk, offered
"Inspector Lamble the sian of $70 which was refused,
"then $100 was offered and accepted. Things were then
"made too ho for Wong Ra who had to close his
"business and leave.

"Jervois Street, rear of the Hung Fa Lau, shop name Va
