You see the total amount on the bill, and it is on this total amount on the pay sheet that thi̟e money is paid.

I have wages to pay and bills to pay and it comes to a certain amount. The Goverment through the Colonial Treasury gives me that amount, end I send down all these bills and pay sheets, and the bills are signed and

receipted.
