Because the other day, I gathered otherwise, these little speeches would not go to the Governor. Or Commission issues from the Governor. We are to take the evidence, and send it to him, with al-our

notes,

in addition to the questions and answers.

I said we had some private discussions. The shorthand reported was present, and took them down. I spoke

to the Governor at the time that it appeared to me the all our shorthand notes should go to him personally,

so that everything which took place in this room shoă go to him, and he said "Certainly, send me everything

It would be clear to everyone that that is simply a slip. All I want is an explanation that the word is

We had the C. S. 0. in front of us, and various papers, and we were referring to these papers as we spoke. Most of us are laymen, and we merely took the worde out of the report, and did not know what we were

talking about. It seems to me to meet the case, mistake has been made, to correct it at a later

In the earlier proceedings, the witness was actually allowed to alter his answer, and the answer was

corrected accordingly.

It was a matter of grammar only.

It was more than grammar, so much so, that you had

to caution a witmss.
