I think you can get good cement, and I think the Green
Island Cement Company get good hydraulic lime from up
the river - that I am told.

Are you aware that commercially, it is not obtainabië
to any extent ?
I know that they mix a good deal of mud with their lima,
to increase its hydraulicity.
On the 29th July 1905, I find a notice are that the 14067
Inspectors were informed there was no more Carbolosens
in stock. Was it before that, or after that, that you
found that they had used Carbolosene irstead of Jayen
Fluid ↑
I think it was before that. I think that intimation to
the Inspectors was given to them, when the last few
barrels of Carbolowens was used up, and they were told
then to revert to the ordinary cleansing with soap.
