giving this Commissiʊfi come very important information, and he has now gone te Canton, and I am very anxious for
him and his two brothers to come back to Hongkong as soon

every occasion that he has been before the Commission,
that there was nothing for him to be afraid of. If
anybody tried to make trouble, he had only to tell us,
and we would protect him, and in spite of that, he has gone to Canton, and what I want you to do is to wite
to him, and tell him to come back. He has nothing to fear. Now, do you think you can help us to get Lai Him
and his twe brothers to come back ?
I dont know his address. I can write a letter, and give
