All the Members present
The Chairman i- I have told the Secretary of the Commission that it appears
desirable that he should go over with the witness the notes
of the previous meeting. That has been done so far as Mr
Woodcock is concerned. I find the notes are very full and it
and it has practically taken the whole of this morning to go
Carabin
over them. We could send copies of our notes to each witness
and it would be a very valuable saving of time p reading
everything in full at the following meeting. I propose,
you agree, to adopt that procedure for the future except
when I see very good reason in individual cases of not
following it.

Page 164. Where is that analysis, Mr Toodcock ?
I have it here.
Well you had better hand it in. If the Secretary has made an
analysis of this sort we will tell him to make a fair copy
of it and hand it in. It is a paper we might like to have.
The Chairman -
Alteration suggested on page 180.
It wenkens your evidence very materially Hr Woodcock if you
come one day and say, Yes. and the next day you say, No..
I must point out to you that it weakens your evidence if you
ask permission at a later meeting of the Commission to make
opferndar
such a diametrical statement to what you said at a previous
meeting.
Witness 1 I am in the hands of the Commission. I don't deny that I
said, No.
