under this part of this Ordinance is brought to the atten-

-tion of the Building Authority or any Officer deputed by

such authority in that behalf Are there any other Officers

in the Sanitary Department besides yourself who hold such

authority ?

A: No, Sir. The nuisance is simply brought to my attention. It

is entirely different from a Sanitary Board nuisance in

which the Board has to be satisfied that the nuisance exista

The only point is that it is brought to my attention -and it

is brought to my attention by a senior Inspector stating

that the nuisance exists and on his stating so I take it is

granted that the nuisance does existe
