The statement discussed in my letter to you
of the 24th February and your 1oply of the 27th February (F 2400/576/10) was duly made by the Secretary of State in reply to a question in the House on the 5th March.
We have since given further consideration to the detailed points which were raised with the Governor (see the 3ccretary of State's telegram No.329 and the "Gqvernor's reply No.406, of which copies are enclosed for convenience of reference) and certain other points which it seeris desirable to raise at this stage, nainly rom the point of view of the publication of the Governor's despatch and the reply which is to be sent
