The Air Ministry hes now sent a signal to the Air Officer commanding R.A.F. Hong Kong, giving him his instructions with regard to the commend of the Services in Hong Kong following the resumption of civil administration.

In accordance with paragraph 3 of 0.0.S.(46) 113,
copy of this signal is being sent to the Colonial Office
(A.M. Signal APX 6537 dated 19th May).
I assume that the Colonial Office are notifying the Governor of Hong Kong separately of the Command arrangements which have been agreed. You will remember that the proposed arrangement includes the appointment of a senior member of the Civil Administration as a member
of the Interservice Committee to assist in the co-ordination of matters in which both civil and militery interests are involved.
