FUTURE PLANS.
The military plan is therefore based on the assumption
that a force of one division, less one Brigado Group, supported by Naval and Air Forces, vill bo available.
5.
DISPOSITION OF FIGHTING TROOPS.
The broad dispositions of this force will be as follows:
(a) One Infantry Brigado Group plus Divisional RECCE Regiment
and Divisional machino-gun battalion will be located in the New Territories. This Brigade Group will be responsible for controlling the Frontier and New Territories, excluding Kowloon, and will be roady at all times to be used offensively against any invaders.
