An Ordinance to amend the Motor Vehicles Insurance (Third Party Risks)
Ordinance.
[1st August 1978]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legistative Council thereof.
DODUOMAL
1. Thit Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Vehicles Insurance Short title kad (Third Party Risks) (Amendment) Ordinance 1978 and shall come into operation on the 1st August 1978.
2. Section 8 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(d) in subsection (1)—
(3) by deleting ""Where" and substituting the following-
"Subject to subsection (14), where”;
(i) by inserting after "such hospital" the following-
or, in the case of a Government hospital, to the Director of Medical and Health Services or such agency as he may from time to time appoint.";
(ii) by inserting after "received by the hospital” the following — " or by the Director of Medical and Health Services or such agency as he may have appointed,"; and
