4.
Section 1 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "the Boy Scouts" and substituting the following-
"The Scout".
5. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-
"Interpreta tion.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the context other- wise requires-
"The Scout Association means The Scout Associa- tion incorporated by Royal Charter dated the 4th January 1912, as the same may from time to time be amended by supplemental Charter: "Scout" includes Cub Scout, Scout, Sea Scout, Air Scout, Venture Sooût, Venture Sea Scout, Venture Air Scout, Lone Scout, Service Scout Cadet Leader. Deep Sea Scout, Member of the B-P Scout Guild and Leader recognized as such, and also all persons recognized as officers, under the by-laws and rules of The Scout Association or the Constitution, by-laws and rules of the Hong Kong Branch thereof.".
Sections 3(b) and 4(b) of the principal Ordinance are amended by deleting "or the characters "17" " and sub- stituting the following-

7. Sections 5(b) and 6 of the principal Ordinance are amended by deleting "Boy Scout" and substituting the following-

(a)
Repeal and replacement of section 8.
"Scout".
Section 7(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by- deleting "Boy" in both places where it occurs; and
(b) deleting "the equivalent Chinese title therefor, that is to say the Chinese characters "*"" and substituting the following-

"the Chinese characters "I" ".
Section 8 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-

"Penalty.
8. Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of section 3, section 4, section 5, section f
3
or section 7 shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $5,000."".
10. Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following-
"(1) "The Scout Association. Hong Kong Branch" shall be a body corporate, hereinafter called the corporation, and shall consist of the persons for the time being holding the offices of—
(a) President;
(b) Chief Commissioner:
(c) Chairman of the Executive Committee; and (d) Honorary Treasurer,
(1A) The corporation shall have perpetual succession, may sue and be sued in all courts and shall have and may use a common seat."; and
(b) in subsection (2), by deleting "Commissioner" and sub-
stituting the following
"Chief Commissioner, Chairman of the Executive Committee”.
Amendment of section 9.
11. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after Addition of section 9 the following new section-
"Officers deputies,
94. (1) Where any of the officers specified in section 9(1) is unable, by reason of sickness, absence from Hong Kong or any other cause, to discharge any of the powers or duties to be exercised or performed by him under this Ordinance, those powers or duties may be exercised or performed by his deputy,
(2) The deputy to the President shall be such one of the Vice-Presidents as may be nominated by the President as his deputy and appointed in accordance with the Constitution of The Scout Association. Hong Kong Branch.".

12. Section 10 of the principal Ordinance is amended by Amendment inserting after subsection (2) the following new subsection- tion 10. "(3) The corporation may, with the approval of The Scout Association, purchase or otherwise acquire and under- take all or any part of the property, liabilities or engagements of any company, institution, society or association whose
