cause a notice to be served upon the owner or occupier of the promises requiring him to limewash, paint, cleanse, disinfect or disinfest such premises or any part thereof to the satisfac- tion of the Authority within such period as may be specified in the notice.".

Section 15 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after subsection (1A) the following-

"(1B) Regulations made under this section may provide that the court by which a person is convicted of an offence consisting of a failure to comply with a notice given under the regulations may, in addition to imposing any other penalty, make an order for the payment by such person to the Authority of the whole or part of any expenses incurred by the Authority in carrying out any work necessary to satisfy the requirements of the notice.”,

The principal Ordinance is amended by adding, after section 104, the following new section-

"Removal of unsightly posters,

104A. The Authority may remove from any building, hoarding or other structure any bill or poster which, by reason of its condition, is in the opinion of the Authority unsightly.".

Section 127 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following-

"(2) Where-

(a) the person by reason of whose acı, default or

sufferance the nuisance arose or continues; and

(b) the owner and the occupier of the premises or

vessel on which the nuisance exists.

6. The Third Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting, after the item relating to section 104(3), the following-
