Amendment of section 10.

3. Section 10 of the principal Ordinance is amended by de- leting subsection (2) and substituting the following-

"(2) Any costs awarded in pursuance of subsection (1) may be recovered as a civil debi.",

An Ordinance to amend the Employment Ordinance.

[25th May. 1973.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Employment (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1973.

(2) Sections 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9(2) and 10, and Parts IVA and TVC contained in section 5 shall come into operation on the 1st July 1973.

(3) Section 3, 901) and Part IVB contained in section 5 shall come into operation on the 1st January 1974.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by in- serting, in the appropriate place in the alphabetical order having regard to the initial letter of each of them, the following defini- Lions--

""alternative holiday" means a holiday granted or to be

granted under section 21G(2);":
