any advertisement, bill, placard, notice or banner, or any other similar decoration to or upon any part of any building, wall, fence, barrier, railing, post or seal or any other structure forming part of the stadium.

11. Notwithstanding any agreement for the use of the stadium or any part thereof the Council may direct that the stadium or such part thereof shall be closed for all or any purposes and such direction may be given al asy time and without notice.

12. Any person who-

(a) contravenes any of the provisions of by-law 3, 5, 7, 8, મ or 10'shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of five hundred dollars and to imprisonment for one month:

(5) is guilty of an offence under paragraph (2) of by-law 6 shall be liable on conviction to a fine of five hundred dollars and to imprisonment for one month.

7. By-law 9 contains many provisions designed to protect the stadium and its equipment, and generally to control the conduct of people within the stadium.

By-law 10 prohibits the affixing of advertisernents, bills, placards, notices or banners on any part of the stadium without the permission of the manager.

9, By-law 11 reserves to the Council a general power of closure which will override any term as to user, poolrided in xa agreement for the hire of the stadium. By-law 12 deals with offences and penalties.

Offences and penalties.

The purpose of these by-laws is to regulate the management and control of the Hong Kong Stadium at So Kon Po.

2.

By-law 3 controls the right of the public to enter the stadium. while by-law 4 allows the mattager or any member of the staff authorized by him to cater the stadium when the stadium is hired out.

3. By-law 5 forbids any person from bringing any animal into the aladium.

4. Under by-law 6 the manager or a member of the stadium staff authorized by bim may direct a person to leave the stadium in certain circumstances. If the person refuses to leave he may be removed.

* Allied to by-law 6 is by-law 7 which forbids the wilful obstruc-

tion of the manager or any member of the staff.

6. The control of vehicles is regulated by by-law 8, which permits the manager to direct truffle within the stadium.
