(2) of rule 5 of Order 17 of the Rules of the Supreme Court any question at issue in interpleader proceedings. unless leave to appeal is given by the judge or the Full Court:

Provided that this paragraph shall have no effect in relation to any interpleader issue which is tried by a judge whether with or without a jury.

29A. Every motion for new trial, or to set aside a verdict, finding or judgment, in any civil cause or matter in the court in which there has been a trial thereof or of any question or issue of fact therein with a jury, shall he heard and determined by the Full Court.",

Section 3 of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance is amended by deleting the definition of "judge" and substituting the following-

**judge" means the Chief Justice, the Senior Puisne Judge, a Puisme Judge and a Commissioner of the Supreme Court;".

10. Notwithstanding the repeal and replacement of section 14 of the principal Ordinance (hereinafter called "the repealed section") by this Ordinance, where prior to the commencement of this Ordinance any proceedings were commenced before a person appointed under the repealed section (whether the proceedings were commenced before such person sitting alone or sitting as a member of the Full Court), such person or the Full Court (3a- cluding such person), as the case may be, shall have power to continue the hearing and deliver judgment, or to deliver judgment, as the case may be.
