STATUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT) STATUTES 1969.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 13 of the University of Hong Kong Ordinance, the Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong has made the following statutes-

1. These statutes may be cited as the Statutes of the University (Amendment) Statutes 1969.

2. Statute III of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph -

(a) by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (a)

"(au) Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies-

B.A. (Arch. Studies).";

(b) by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (g)—–—–

"(ge) Bachelor of Laws-LLB.”

(c) by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (x)—

"(ng) Master of Laws-LL.M."; and

(d) by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (3)—

"(sa) Doctor of Laws-LL-D.".

3. Statute XXII of the principal Statutes is amended in paragraph 1-

(a) by deleting "and" at the end of sub-paragraph (g):

(b) by deleting the fullstop in sub-paragraph (A) and sub-

stituting a semicolon;

(c) by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (4)–

"(i) the President of the Students' Union; and

() one undergraduate from each Faculty who shall be registered in that Faculty to read full time for a degree, such undergraduate being elected by the undergraduates similarly so registered in that Faculty.":

(d) by inserting the following after paragraph 3-

"3A. The members elected by the under- graduates shall be elected for a period of one year
