(Chapter 1014).

CHURCH OF ENGLAND TRUST (CHURCH COUNCILS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Church of England Trust Ordinance, The Trustees of the Church of England in the Diocese of Victoria. Hong Kong have made the following regulations—→

1. These regulations may be cited as the Church of England Trust (Church Councils) (Amendment) Regulations 1970.

(a)

Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended-

in paragraph (c) by deleting "of twenty-one years of age and upwards" and substituting the following

"or of a church in communion with it":

(5) in paragraph (d) by deleting "and of twenty-one years of

age and upwards" and substituting the following-

"or of a church in communion with it":

(c) by deleting the full stop at the end of paragraph (ɗ) and

substituting therefor a semicolon;

(d) by adding, after paragraph (d), the following--

"(e) the two lay representatives elected at the annual

church meeting as members of the body of The Trustees of the Church of England in the Diocese of Victoria, Hong Kong ".

3. Regulation 8 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (6) by deleting "subject to the directions contained in the Book of Common Prayer as to the disposal of money given at the offertory.".

4. Regulation 16 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (2) by inserting, after "for Saint Andrew's Church, Kowloon," the following-

"and the Vicar of Christ Church, Kowloon Tong, for Christ Church, Kowloon Tong.".
