"PART IIA.

DISPOSAL OF APPARATUS.

7. (1) No licensee shall sell or otherwise trans- fer any irradiating apparatus except to a person holding a licence in respect of that apparatus.

(2) Any licensee who intends to dispose of any irradiating apparatus by-

(a) sale or other transfer to another licensee:

or

(b) abandonment,

sball give to the Board not less than seven days' notice in writing specifying the apparatus concerned, the proposed date of disposal and, in the case of a dis- posal under sub-paragraph (a), the name and address of the proposed transferee.

(3) No licensee shall abandon, or cause or per- mit the abandonment of, any apparatus unless the Board has certified in writing that the apparatus bas been rendered harmless.

(4) Any person who contravenes any of the pro- visions of paragraph (1), (2) or (3) shall be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction to a fine of five thousand dollars.".

Regulation 27 of the principal regulations is revoked.

The principal regulations are amended by deleting “sum- mary" wherever it occurs in the following regulations-

paragraph (2) of regulation 6; paragraph (5) of regulation 8:

regulation 20;

paragraph (3) of regulation 21; paragraph (2) of regulation 22: paragraph (2) of regulation 23: paragraph (4) of regulation 24: regulation 25;

paragraph (2) of regulation 36; paragraph (2) of regulation 28;

paragraph (2) of regulation 29.

B.

Part VI of the principal regulations is revoked.

9.

The First Schedule to the principal regulations is amend-

ed by deleting Form 2 and substituting the following-
