RADIATION ORDINANCE. (Chapter 303).
RADIATION (CONTROL OF IRRADIATING APPARATUS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Radiation Ordinance, the Radiation Board has, subject to the approval of the Legislative Council, made the following regula tionsTM
1. These regulations may be cited as the Radiation (Control of Irradiating Apparatus) (Amendment) Regulations 1970.

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is amended-
(4) in paragraph (1) by inserting the following after
"licence"
"for any irradiating apparatus"; and
(6) in paragraph (2) by deleting "licensing authority” and
substituting the following-
"Board".
3. Regulation 4 of the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the following-
"Licence. Fimm Schedule,
Form 1.
4. (1) A licence for any irradiating apparatus shall be in Form 2 of the First Schedule.
(2) A licence granted or renewed shall be valid for twelve months with effect from the date of grant or renewal thereof or for such lesser period as may be specified in the licence.
(3) No licence shall be transferable.".
4. Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the following-

5. The licence fee payable to the Board in respect of the grant or renewal of a licence for any irradiating apparatus shall be as prescribed in the Second Schedule.".
