RESETTLEMENT ORDINANCE.

RESETTLEMENT (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Resettlement Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Resettlement (Amendment) Regulations 1970.
2. The Second Schedule to the principal regulations is amended in Part I by inserting, after sub-item (a) of item I in the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth columns and as shown hereunder, the following-

3. The Fourth Schedule to the principal regulations is amended by inserting, after item B, the following new item
"C. Units occupied in Government cottages in any area for non-profit-making_strtfiliable ge-welfare purposes

Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
Regulation 2 amends the Second Schedule to the principal regulationu so as to provide for the rents to be paid in respect of self-contained accommodation in converted Mark I blocks.
Regulation amends the Fourth Schedule so as to provide for a nominal rent to be paid in respect of premises in Government cottages which are occupied for non-profit-making charitable or welfare purposes.
