DANGEROUS GOODS (CLASSIFICATION) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS 1970.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dangerous Goods (Classification) (Amendment) Regulations 1970.

The Schedule to the principal regulations is amended in Class 2 of Category I by inserting after the item “Lump-Kol Pellet Powder" the following new item-

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but Ir fritendled to indicate their general purport).

These regulations amend the Schedule to the principal regulations to

give effect to the recommendation of the Dangerous Goods Standing

Committee that nitrocarbonitrate should be included as dangerous goods

under Category 1 Class 2 of the principal regulations.
