SOCIETIES ORDINANCE. (Chapter 151).

SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) ORDER 1970.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (3) of section 2 of the Societies Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following order-

1. This order may be cited as the Societies (Amendment of Schedule) Order 1970, and shall come into operation on the day appointed for the commencement of the Credit Unions Ordinance.

2. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended by adding the following new item-

"(9) Any credit union registered under the Credit

Ordinance.".

Explanatory Note,

This order provides for the exemption from registration under the

Societies Ordinance of any credit union registered under the Credit Unions

Ordinance.
