PAWNBROKERS (FORMS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970.

lo exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Pawnbrokers Ordinance, the Governor iu Council has made the following regulations—

L These regulations may be cited as the Pawnbrokers (Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 1970, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1970.

2. The Schedule to the principal regulations is amended- (a) in Form 1. by inserting, between the third and fourth

columns, a new column headed

"Number and type of identity document of borrower.":

(b) in Form 2. by adding, after the sixth column-

column headed-

"Number and borrower.".

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, bur de intended

to indicate their general purport).

The effect of the amendments made by these regulations is to require

pawnbrokers to enter details of a borrower's identity document in their

general books and on pawn tickets.
