EMERGENCY REGULATIONS ORDINANCE. (Chapter 241).

EMERGENCY REGULATIONS (REPEAL) ORDER 1968.

Io exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following order-

1. This order may be cited as the Emergency Regulations (Repeal) Order 1968.

2. Regulations 107 and 127 of the Emergency (Principal) Regulations are repealed.

(a) discontinues the operation of the Emergency (Principal) Regula-

tions listed in the Schedule:

(b) amends the Schedule to the orders mentioned in paragraphs 3.

4 and respectively;

(c) cancels the order mentioned in paragraph 5.

The amendments referred to in paragraph (6) and the cancellation referred to in paragraph (c) are consequential on the revocation of Emergency (Principal) Regulations 107 and 127 and the discontinuance of the operation of Emergency (Principal) Regulations 92, 119A, 1199 and 136A.

This order repeals regulations 107 and 127 of the Emergency (Principal) Regulations (which conferred powers relating to the dispersal of assemblies and the prohibition of meetings) in consequence of the incorporation of the substance of these regulations in the Public Order Ordinance.
