amount of the capital of the company actually paid up" and the substitution therefor of the following-

"Subject to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 4, the total amount of notes actually in circulation shall not at any time exceed the equivalent of the sum of thirty million dollars".

4. Subsection (2) of section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion of the words "other than those against the issue of which securities have been deposited under such sub- section”, and the substitution therefor of the following--

"to an amount in excess of the equivalent of the sum of thirty million dollars",

$. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-

**Monthly statement of outstanding notes and secantion.

(1) The company shall render to the Financial Secretary on the first working day of each month z statement of the face value of the notes outstanding and of the securities held against these notes. The statement shall show the nominal value of such securi» ties, the price at which they were valued on deposit and also the latest market price of such securities. The Financial Secretary shall cause to be published in the Gazette each month an extract from the sail statement showing the face value of the notes out- standing.".

This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 1st day of February, 1967, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

An Ordinance to incorporate The Hong Kong Anti-Tuberculosis and

Thoracic Diseases Association.

WHEREAS

[3rd February, 1967.)

(1) the former Hong Kong Anti-Tuberculogis Association was incorporated by Ordinance in 1948 with its main purpose to combat tuberculosis in Hong Kong:

(2) since that time many organizations throughout the work, also established for the purpose of combating tuberculosis, bave extended the Pope of their activities to include all diseases of the chest and beart:

(3) the former Association being desirous of likewise extending the scope of its activities and of making changes in its constitution:

(4) it is considered expedient to make provision accordingly by legislation:
