BUILDING (CONSTRUCTION) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1966.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Buildings Ordinance 1955, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations
and com- mencement.
1. These regulations may be cited as the Building (Construction) Citatios (Amendment) Regulations 1966, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1966.
1 Regulation 89 of the Building (Construction) Regulations Amendment 1956 is amended by-
(a) being renumbered as paragraph (1); and
(6) the insertion of the following now paragraphs-

"(2) For the purposes of this regulation, a supply of water shall be adequate if in the opinion of the Building Authority the yield of water from such well during the period from the 1st day of December to the 30th day of April next succeeding, as ascertained and certified in accordance with this regulation, would be sufficient in all respects for all the purposes for which the well is to be used.
(3) For the purposes of this regulation, the yield of water from a well shall be ascertained by the authorized architect in a manner and by a method ap- proved by the Building Authority-
(a) during the first such period as is referred to in paragraph (2) after the first consent to the commencement of the building works is given by the Building Authority in respect of the building for which the well is required, or if such first consent is given during such a period then during such period; or
(b) if the Building Authority so directs, during any such period as is referred to in paragraph (2) after the first consent to the commencement of the building works is given by the Building Authority in respect of the building for which the well is required.
