An Ordinance to make special provision to exempt Clive Robert Carter from the obligation to be a contributor under the Widows and Orphans Pension Ordinance and to refund to the said Clive Robert Carter contributions made by him under the said Ordinance.
WHEREAS
[26th November, 1965.]
(1) the Widows and Orphans Pension (Application) Regulations 1952 provide that a male officer who joins the public service on an agreement for three years or more after the commencement of the said regulations should be required to be a contributor under the Widows and Orphans Pension Ordinance only if he failed to give written notice to the Accountant General within one month from the date of assump- tion of duty that he did not desire to be a contributor under the said Ordinance:
(2) Clive Robert Carter joined the public service upon agreement as aforesaid on the 17th October, 1964;
(3) the said Clive Robert Carter has given notice that he does not desire to be a contributor under the said Ordinance:
