POLICE REGULATIONS (DISCIPLINE) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS, 1964.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40A of the Police Force Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Police Regulations Citation. [Discipline) (Amendment) Regulations, 1964.

(a) by the deletion of the full stop at the end of paragraph (d) (Vol. XI,

and the substitution therefor of a semi-colon; and

(b) by the insertion thereafter of the following-

"(e) severe reptimand;

(f) reprimand:

(g) caution.".

Explanatory Note.

(This Now is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

These regulations remove au anomaly existing between the provisions as to disciplinary penalties specified in subsection (1) of section 28 of the Police Force Ordinance and those specified in regulation 18 of the Police Regulations Dlacipline) by bringing the provisions into line with each other,
