BUILDING (PLANNING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1963.
la exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1955, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations
1. These regulations may be cited as the Building (Planning) Citation. (Amendment) Regulations. 1963.

Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purpari).
The Building (Planning) Regulations, 1956, were amended in 1962 so as. inter alia, to require the provision of a greater amount of open space around domestic buildings. It was always intended that the amount of open space to be provided around a domestic building on an island site should be the same that to be provided around such a building on a corner site abutting on three supets, but for reasons that cannot now be accounted for istand sites were kally excluded from the operation of the relevant provisions. These regula- tons curd the defect.
