An Ordinance to amend The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking

Corporation Ordinance, Chapter 70.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Hongkong and Shanghai Short title, Banking Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance, 1961.

Section 7 of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corpora- Amendment tion Ordinance is amended by the deletion of subsection (1) and the of section 7. substitution therefor of the following-

(Cap. 70).

"(1) The capital of the bank is one hundred million dollars divided into four million shares of twenty-five dollars cach.”.

This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 21st day of June, 1961, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.
