FOURTH SCHEDULE,
Manner of giving Notice of Practice Grenade Throwing.

L. (1) Norice that practice grenade throwing is about to take place or is Duty to display Laking place in the Firing Area Shall be given by the display of the signals signals and hereinafter mentioned.
(2) Such signuls shall be displayed one hour before grenade throwing is due to commence,
(3) In all cases signals shall remain displayed until grenade throwing has ceased and shall then be removed.

The signals referred to in paragraph 1 shall be-
(a) a large red flag hoisted at the following points-
(1) grid reference KV 002924;
(ú) grid reference KV 004923,
(ii) grid reference KV 002921; (iv) grid reference KV 006921;
(b) such other signals or warnings as may appear suitable or practicable to the District Commissioner, "New Territories, and to the Commaudiog Officer,

(This Note is not part of the Order, but is intended to indicate its general purport).
This Order is made to authorize Her Majesty's Military Forces to use certain land at CHAU TAU in the New Territories as a Firing Area for practice gregade throwing. The Order prohibits persons from being or remaining upon the land affected when it is in use during specified hours. The prohibition enforceable by penalty is necessary so as to enforce safety precautions. Provision is also mada for the payment of compensation where damage or loss is caused to trees or srops by the user of the Firing Area.
