DANGEROUS GOODS (CLASSIFICATION) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960,

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1956, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dangerous Goods Citation. (Classification) (Amendment) Regulations, 1960.

2. Regulation 3 of the Dangerous Goods (Classification) Regula. Amendment time, 1956, is amended in Category 2—

(a) by the deletion of the heading "Compressed Gases" and the (G.NA

substitution therefor of the following heading-

"Compressed Gases and Blowing Agents"; and

(b) by the addition after Class 3 of the following new Class--

"Class 4-Blowing Agents. Organic blowing agents

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended

to indicate their general purport).

The purpose of these regulations is to add organic blowing agents which used in the manufacture of foam rubber to the list of substances controlled under the Dangerous Goods Regulations as Port Class B substances. These abslaces are dangerous,
