An Ordinance to amend the Prisons Ordinance, 1954.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Prisons (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance, 1960.

Section 2 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1954 (hereinafter referred Amendment

of section 2 to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-

(17 of 1954),

(a) in the definition "Commissioner" by the deletion of the words

"or an Assistant Commissioner":

(b) in the definition "senior officer" by the deletion of the words "Assistant Commissioner" and the substitution therefor of the following-

"Deputy Commissioner"; and
