An Ordinance to amend the Pearl Culture (Control) Ordinance, 1958.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pear! Culture (Control) Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1960.

2. Section 2 of the Pearl Culture (Control) Ordinance, 1958 Amendoncal (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-

(a) by the insertion before the definition "“cultivation area" of the

following new definition-

· "Commissioneg” means the Commissioner for

Co-operative Development and Fisheries;":

(b) by the deletion of the definition "Director":

(c) by the deletion of the definition "pearl oyster" and the sub-

stitution therefor of the following→

Schedule.

'"pearl oyster" means any genus or species of oyster

specified in the Schedule;"; and

of section 1. (26 of 1938).
