NOTICE, Jury Service.

1. Whereas it appears to me that you are a person qualified and liable in accordance with the provisions of section 4 of the Jury Ordinance to serve as a juror, you are hereby notified that your name will be added to the joint Electoral Register and Jury List unlèss within 14 days after the receipt of this noties you notify me in writing that you claim exemption from jury service on either of tw following grounds

(a) that you do not qualify for fury service under the provisions of sexch

tion 4 of the Jury Ordinance; or

(5) that you are entitled to exemption from jury service under the provisioni

of section 5 of the Jury Ordinance.

A copy of the relevant provisions of sections 4 and 5 of the Jurg Ordinance are attached bereto for your information.

Urban Council Elections.

3. If, upon claiming exemption from jury service as indicated in para- graph 1, your claim is accepted, your name may nevertheless be included in the Electoral Register for the purpose of voting at the next forthcoming_Urban Council elections upon your forwarding to me an application to that effect ob Form 2 of the Appendix to the Urban Council Elections (Registration of Electors) Regulations, 1955. I shall be pleased to supply you with such a form upot request or you may obtain such a form from any post office.

* A copy of the provisions of sections 15 to 17 inclusive of the Urban Council Ordinance, 1955, relating to franchise, is attached for your information.
