Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pensions (Amend- Short Litle

2. Subsection (1) of section 8 of the Pensions Ordinance is Amendment of section 8, repealed and replaced by the following new subsection—
(Cap. 89).
"(1) The normal age of retirement of an officer holding a pensionable office shall be on attaining the age of 55 years:
