KEEPING OF CATTLE, SWIne, Sheep and Goats (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS, 1956.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws--
1. These by-laws may be cited as the Keeping of Cattle, Citation. Swine, Sheep and Goats (Amendment) By-laws, 1956.
2. By-law of the Keeping of Cattle, Swine, Sheep and Rescission Goats By-laws is rescinded.

Explanatory Note.
(This Note ta wot part of the by-laws, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
By-law 11 of the Keeping of Cattle, Swine, Sheep and Goats By-lawa requires diseases among animals to be reported. It is considered that the provision of regulations 22 to 36 af the Public Health (Animals and Birds) Regulations give adequate control over animal diseases and by-law 11 is therefore rescinded.
