DOGS AND CATS (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1956.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Dogs and Cats Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dogs and Cats Citation. (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1956.

2. Regulation 2 of the Dogs and Cats Regulations is Amend amended by the deletion of the definition of "licensing authority", and the substitution therefor of the following definition-

"licensing authority" means the Director;",

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended

"to indicate their general purport).

In accordance with recent amendments to the Dogs and Cats Ordin- ance (Cap. 167), the Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry now baconies the licensing authority throughout the Colony for the purposes of the Dogs and Cats Regulations.
