have been extinguished and to have ceased to exist on such commencement; and such undertakings are validated for all purposes notwithstanding that such works may have been under- taken or commenced without regard to such rights (if any) and without the authority of any enactment extinguishing such rights..
(a) Save as is provided by this Ordinance, no claim shall at any time be made or action brought or continued in respect of the extinguishment under this section in whole or in part of any public or private right or the injurious affection of any land or other property resulting therefrom.
3. The Director of Public Works is authorized provisionally and subject to the definitive approval of the Governor in Council to construct the undertakings set out in Part II of the Schedule...
The provisions for compensation set out in sections 7. 8 and 9 of the Public Reclamations Validation and Clauses Ordinance, 1936, shall apply to the undertakings in progress validated under section z of this Ordinance as if such under- takings in progress were to receive definitive approval at the same time as the undertakings now authorized to be carried out subject to such approval,

Undertaking Now Authorized.
(a) A reclamation of the remainder of Chai Wan of approximately 17 acres of Crown foreshore and seabed boonded by a sea wall of approximately 1,800 ft. in length across the bay in a north-westerly to south-easterly direction in which there is an opening of 100 ft. long to an enclosed typhoon shelter of approximately 4 acres, and the high water mark of the area of the bay so enclosed, the limits and extent of such reclamation being shown and delineated in red on a plan numbered F. 1893 signed by the Director of Public Works and deposited in the Land Office.
(b) A reclamation in Kun Tong Bay of approximately 41.3 acres of Crown foreshore and seabed extending in a pullah wall from high water mark in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1,850 ft. thence in a sea wall in a north-westerly direction "for a distance of approximately 1,200 ft.; thence in a generally north-easterly direction for a distance of 1,150 ft.; thence in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 1,800 ft. back to the nullah wall, the limits and extent of such reclama- tion being shown and delineated in red on a plas numbered F. 1694 signed by the Director of Public Works and deposited in the Land Office.

(c) A reclamation in Cheung Sha Wan of approximately 34.4 acres extending by an extension of the sea wall in a north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 750 ft.; thence in a north-easterly dires- tion for a distance of approximately 1,800 ft.; thence in a south-easterly direction at high water mark for a distance of approximately 750 IL; thence in a south-westerly direction back to the sea wall for a distance of approximately 1,900 ft. the limits and extent of such reclamation being shown and delineated in red on a plan numbered P. 1095 signed by the Director of Public Works and deposited in the Land Office.

(c) A reclamation at Cheung Sha Wan of approximately 33 acres of Crown foreshore and seabed, the limits and extent of which being shown and delineated in blue on a plan numbered P. 1695 signed by the Director of Public Works and deposited in the Land Office.
