PUBLIC HEALTH (SANITATION) ORDINANCE, 1935. (No. 15 of 1935).

SCAVENGING (Amendment) By-Laws, 1955-

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws-

1. These by-laws may be cited as the Scavenging (Amend- Citation. ment) By-laws, 1955-

and re-

2. By-law 7 of the by-laws contained in Schedule A to the Revocation Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, under the heading placement "Scavenging", set forth on papes 202 to 204 of the Annual of by-law T. Volume of the Ordinances of Hong Kong for the year 1935 A to Ord. (Schedule (hereinafter referred to as the principal by-laws) is revoked and No. 15/35). replaced by the following-

7. No unauthorized person shall rake, pick over or grub in any refuse deposited in or upon any public place, vacant land, refuse depot, or refuse dump or in any dustbin, dustbox, dustbasket, dustcart or scaveng- ing cart standing in or upon any public place, vacant land, refuse depot or refuse dump, or remove or scatter any portion of any refuse so deposited.”.

The principal by-laws are amended by the addition after Addition of new by-law by-law 10 of the following- "Citation,

11. These by-laws may be cited as the Scavenging By-laws, 1935.".
