14. As soon as the returning officer shall have published a notice of nomination in respect of any election in accordance with the Urban Council Elections (Procedure) Regulations, 1955, the registration officer shall furnish to each validly nominated candidate on application by him or by his election agent two copies of the final register free of charge.

15. In respect of each election and as soon as a notice of nomination shail have been published the registration officer shall transmit to the returning officer two copies of the final register for each polling station and such additional copies thereof as the returning officer may require.

16. On or before the 1st day of March in each year the registration officer shall post to each elector a poll card in accordance with Form 9 in the Appendix.

17. (1) Any application or notice of objection which is under these regulations to i ludged with the registration officer may be lodged with him by sending sume by pre-paid ordinary post addressed to him at his office.

(2) Any notice which is required to be sent by the registra- tion officer under these regulations to any person shall be sufficiently sent if sent by pre-paid ordinary post to the address of that person us given by him for the purpose or as appearing on a register prepared under the provisions of the Ordinance, or if there is no such address, to his last known place of abode.

18. The Governor may at any time amend the date by which under these regulations any thing is directed to be done.

19. No misnomer or inaccurate description of any person or place on any list or on any register or in any notice shall pre- judice the operation of these regulations us respects that person or place, provided that the person or place is so designated as to be commonly understood.
