NON-INTERFERENCE—The stations shall be paed in such a manner as not to cause any interference with the working of other stations. Before a message is sent the operator shall listen to ensure that no other station is sending.
SECRECY OF CORRESPONDENCE—If any message which the Licennes is not entitled to receive is unintentionally received the Licensee shall not make known or allow to be made known its contents its origin or destination Its existence or the fact of its receipt to any person (other than a duly authorized officer of the Government or a competent_legal tribunal) and shall not produce in writing, copy or make any use of such message or allow the same to be reproduced in writing copied or made use of.
8. CERTIFICATES-There shall at all times be affixed to each of the stations a certificate issued by the Portmaster General certifying that the station is one of those authorized by a licence granted by the Post- master General.
9. INSPECTION-The stations together with this licence and the certificates shall be open to inspection whenever transmissions are taking place and at all other reasonable times by duly authorized officers of the Post Office who will produce their cards of identity on request.
10. RADIOTELEGRAPH CONVENTIONS-The Licensee shall ob. serve the provisions of the International Telecommunication Convention 1963 and the Hadiocommunication Regulations annexed thereto or those of Any subsequent International Convention and Regulations which may replace them so far as they are applicable to the stations.
The expressione used in this Licence have the same meaning as in the Telecommunication Convention unless there is something in the subject or context repugnant to such construction.
11. CONTROL IN EMERGENCY—Ģi If and whenever in the opinion of the Postmastor General an eldergency shall have arisen in which it is expedient For the public service that the Government shall have control over the sending and receipt of messages by means of the stations it shall be lawful for the Postmaster General to direct and cause the fixed stations or any of them to be taken possession of in the hame and on behalf of the Government and to prevent the Licensee from asing them or it and to use the astutions or any of them for the service of the Government. The Postmaster General may for any of these pur- poses cause any part of or all the apparatus forming the station to be removed to such place as he may think fit. Any person nuthorized by the Postmaster General may from time to time enter the premises at which any of the fixed etations is maintained for any such purposes as aforesaid
(b) In any auch event as aforesaid it shall be lawful for the Post- master General to direct and cause the atalions to be taken possession of in the name and on behalf of the Government and to use the same for the Government service and in that event any such officer or person so authorized may enter upon any ship on which a station is established and take possession of the station and use the same as aforesaid and subject to such use may use the same or allow it to be used for such ordinary services as may in his discretion seem fit to him or may prohibit and take steps to prevent the use of the same and issue directions which shall be obeyed by the Licensee to prevent such use. Any such officer or person as aforesaid may remove the apparatus forming the station and cause it to be used at any place for the service of the Government,
(c) The Licensee shall not be entitled to any compensation in respect of the exercise of any of the powers conferred by this condition which shall remain in force notwithstanding the withdrawal of the Licence,

12. The term "business" used in this Licence does not include the business of sending or receipt of messages of other persons or corporations.
13 The system shall be in the charge of a person or persons who in the opinion of the Postmaster General is a competent telecommunication technician.

"No student or instructor who has been disapproved by the Postmaster General shall be allowed to use the station,"

Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
The Telecommunication Ordinance, (Cap. 106), has recently been amended to give effect to recommendations made by a Committee appointed to scrutinize that Ordinance and Regulations made thereunder. It is now sought to amend the Radiocommunication Regulations in accordance with those recommendations. A table of amendments is set out below.
