(iii) COPYRIGHT—This licence does not authorize the Licensee to do any set which is an infringement of any copyright which may exist.

(iv) RETURN OF LICENCE-When this licence is cancelled or superseded by a new licence, it must be returned to the Licensing Authority.

(v) PAYMENT OF FEES-The annual fee should be forwarded on the due date to the Licensing Office, G.P,Q. Building, Hong Kong."

22. Form 1 in the principal regulations is amended by the deletion of the words "Merchant Shipping (Wireless Telegraph) Act, 1919, and the Merchant Shipping (Safety and Load Line Conventions) Act, 1932.", and the substitution therefor of the following-

"Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Act, 1949."

23. Form 13 in the principal regulations is rescinded and replaced by the following-

The Licensee shall pay to the Postmaster General the fee of per annum the first payment to be made on the date of the Licence and subsequent payments on the anniversary thereof in each year, In the event of the Licence being withdrawn (except for breach of condition) the Postmaster General shall return to the Licensee A proportionate part of the fee in respect of the unexpired portion of the year for which payment has been made.

TELECOMMUNICATION ORDINANCE. (Chapter 106 of the Revised Edition).

Private Business Wireless Licence.

Licanes to establish and work wireless telegraph sending and receiving station(s) for the transmission of meaauges on the business of the Licnmane.

(hereinafter called "the Licensee") is hereby authorized to establish and maintain wireless telegraph sending and receiving stations (hereinafter called respectively "the fixed station(s)" and "the mobile station(s)", and collectively referred to as "the stations") at the premises and on set out in the Schedule hereto and to work the stations solely for the purpose of sending and receiving epoken mcasages on the business of the Licensee between

subject to the conditions set forth hereon.

This Licence may be withdrawn by the Postmaster General by notice in writing given to the Licensee at any time. The Licence will be with- drawn if the Licensee does not observe its provisions and conditions or makes default in payment of the royalty reserved thereto.

CONDITIONS.

1. WIRELESS APPARATUS--The apparatus used at the stations shall comply in all respects with the technical and other requirements laid down by the Postmaster General. The Licensee shall not use at any station any frequency or any greater power than those respectively specified in The Schedule hereto opposite the name of the station, or such frequency or power as may from time to time be substituted therefor by the Post- master General by notice in writing to the Licensee. The Postmaster General reserves the right to authorize the use of any frequency by any other Licensee.

3. AERIALS-The aerials and any masts erectal for use on any of the stations shall comply with any requirements as regards height, Structural design etc. which may be prescribed by the Postmaster General by notice in writing to the Licensee. If any fixed station is situated within half a mile of the boundary of any aerodrome, the height of the aerial or any mast supporting it shall not exceed 50 feet above the ground level. An aerial which crosses above or is liable to fall upon or to be blown on to any overhead power wire (including electric lighting and tramway wires) shall be guarded to the reasonable satisfaction of the owner of the power wire concerned,

3. OPERATION OF AND ACCESS TO TRANSMITTING AP- PARATUS-The apparatus phall at all times be operated by persons authorized by the Licensee. The Licenses shall ensure that these persons always observe the conditions of the Licence and that access to the apparatus cannot be obtained by unauthorized persons at any time.

.. The Licensee shall cease to operate the stations or any of them for such period as may be required by any Government Department or by the Officer in charge of any Government Wireless Station. The stationa shall communicate with each other only and shall not attempt to com- municate with any station not shown in the Schedule.

5. CALL SIGNALS--Each station shall announce its call signal, as given in the Schedule horeto, at the beginning and end of each commudica- tion. Stations shall be called and identified only by their authorized call signels.
