DOGS AND CATS (AMENDMENT) RegulatioNS, 1955-
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Dogs and Cats Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dogs and Cats Citation. (Amendment) Regulations, 1955, and shall come into operation on 1st December, igss.

Regulation 6 of the Dogs and Cats Regulations (herein- Amendment after referred to as the principal regulations) is amended by the regula- deletion from the marginal note and from the third and fourth (Vol. X, lines of paragraph (1) of the words "twelve months" and the P. 289). substitution therefor in each case of the following-

1. (1) No licence shall be issued or renewed in 7 respect of any dog unless the issuing officer is satisfied that an ear of such dug bears a decipherable tattooed mark or number made in accordance with regulation S within the three years prior to the issue or renewal of such licence.
(2) In this regulation "'issuing officer" means any person appointed by the licensing authority for the purpose of this regulation.”.
