Explanatory Note.
The control of rice imported for re-export la now covered by the Importation and Exportation (Reserved Commodities) Regulations, 1954, which were brought into effect on lat January, 1955.

Explanatory Nole.
The Tallyclerks (Licensing) Ordinance, Chapter 85, has recently been amended to give power to the Governor in Council to make regulations under the Ordinance. These regulations deal with the issue etc. of licences, armbands and badges, and include provisions which were formerly included in the Ordinance.
