MONEY-LENDERs (RegistratioN) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1955.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Money- lenders Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Money-lenders Citation. (Registration) (Amendment) Regulations, 1955.
2. Regulation 2 of the Money-lenders (Registration) Regu- Rescission
and re- lations is rescinded and replaced by the following regulation- placement of regula- ***. The following fees shall be payable to the Registrar tion of Money-lenders-
(a) for an initial registration as a money-lender. 500
(b) for each renewal of a registration made in accordance with subsection (2) of section 4 of the Ordinance
(c) for any amendment to the name, address or particulars under which a money-lender has caused himself to be registered

Explanatory Note.
The regulations increase the fee payable for registration as a money- lender. The current fee of $50 has not been amended since 1931.
